چکیده

Pesticides can be found in beehives for several reasons, including contamination from surrounding cultivars; yet one of the most pertinent is related to fact that beekeepers employ acaricides control various types mites, which may accumulate beeswax due their lipophilic nature. In present study, foundation sheets different origins, collected over a period three years, were analyzed detect residues seven (atrazine, chlorpyrifos, chlorfenvinphos, alpha-endosulfan, bromopropylate, coumaphos, tau-fluvalinate) by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection. An efficient sample treatment (recoveries between 90% and 108%) proposed, involving solvent extraction 1% acetic acid acetonitrile mixture followed dispersive solid-phase (enhanced matrix removal lipid) polishing step. evaluation was made analytical performance proposed method. It shown selective, linear limit quantification 5000 µg/kg, precise (relative standard deviation values below 6%), goo sensitivity (limit ranging 5 10 µg/kg). Finally, results showed large majority (>90%) contained at least these compounds. Coumaphos tau-fluvalinate common, chlorpyrifos chlorfenvinphos detected lesser extent.

Acaricide Residues in Beeswax and Honey

We studied the contamination level of the acaricides Folbex VA (bromopropylate, BP), Perizin (coumaphos, CM) Apistan (fluvalinate, FV) and Bayvarol (flumethrine, FM) in brood combs, sugar feed, honey and in new beeswax. All samples were analysed by gas chromatography with ECD detection. After one normal acaricide treatment, in autumn, the brood comb wax was contaminated by all these acaraicides...

Acaricide residues in honey, beeswax and propolis

In Switzerland the acaricides Folbex VA (bromopropylate, BP), Perizin (coumaphos, CM), Apistan (fluvalinate, FV) Bayvarol (flumethrine, FM) are used for varroa control. We studied the contamination level of BP,CM and FV in brood and honey combs, sugar feed, honey after field trials. In samples of recycled pure beeswax and propolis, gathered by beekeepers we examined the level of all four acaric...

Determining the amount of Acrylamide in Potato Chips Using Xanthydrol as a Derivative Representative with Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

Background and Objectives: In the production process of foods rich in carbohydrates and some other foods containing precursors of acrylamide formation, there is the possibility of acrylamide creation, which is a mutagen and carcinogen material. This study aims to introduce and optimize a new method for determining acrylamide in potato chips using xanthydrol as a derivative representative with g...
